Sample Sale Magic

Amber found the dress of her dreams at a sample sale. The gown had seen better days. It was missing most of its back buttons. In addition, the bodice was much too big for Amber- at the waist, exposing the waist stay in the back and exposing too much of her chest in the nude inset at the center front. She loved the button details of her gown so we opted for a traditional bustle style for the reception. I custom dyed and covered with net all of the buttons for the back of her gown. Repaired all of the damaged button loops. Fitted the bodice, including adding a gusset to her sleeve so that she had full range of motion for dancing and throwing her bouquet.
