Two Dresses into One

Kristen ordered a ballgown with the bodice she loved and an additional overskirt from another dress to add length and fullness for her ceremony. I expertly added invisible hooks to her gown for the overskirt (as it was not designed to have one) so that when she took it off for the reception, you couldn't see where it attached. Both the overskirt and ballgown were hemmed. Her bodice was taken in to fit her better in the waist. Finally, her ballgown was given a French bustle so that she could dance. I also fitted several of her bridesmaids- including her twin sister who arrived in town less than 24 hours before the wedding!
